Reality is a defective product a lot like a broken bowl. Likewise, fictive method is like clay in my hands, used to repair the broken part of the bowl. What I’m displaying is a compound of the authentic and the inauthentic after it has been repaired. It is neither fake nor real. Fiction serves as an artistic method fused with reality. Thus, it obtains freedom and fulfills a type of rationale. Fiction is something of a whisperer, then, standing just behind reality and ceaselessly pronouncing its curses even as it sets me free.
