Tales From The Taiping Era Guide Book is published on the occasion of“Tales From The Taiping Era” organised by Red Brick Art Museum. As a brochure before the formal catalogue, the book contains a preface by Mr. Yan Shijie, director of the Red Brick Art Museum, an essay by the curatorial team members Gao Shiming, Guo Xiaoyan, and Zhang Jianling. It also includes artists Huang Yong Ping, Wu Shanzhuan and Inga Svala Thórsdóttir, Yung Ho Chang, Wang Jianwei, Chen Chieh-Jen, Qiu Zhijie, Yang Fudong, Bai Shuangquan, Feng Bingyi, Guo Xi’s accounts, as well as rich manuscripts, sketches, images of works, the exhibition map and etc..
